About Frontier Assisted Living and Memory Care

"The ability to live in a community, regardless of age, income, or ability level."

Kay Jennings

Hank and Kay Jennings are the current owners of Frontier; both are long time Montana residents. Kay is a registered nurse (MSU) and has a masters in Health Services Administration; she is also a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner. Hank has a background in Assisted Living Administration. They currently live in Missoula, Montana and visit Frontier regularly.

Frontier has long and rich ties to the Livingston community. A section of Frontier was the original hospital built in the early 1900's and has been an iconic landmark in the area. As the community grew so did the demands, the current hospital was built and Frontier became a clinic. Then in the 1980's an addition was built to server the growing senior population. Frontier added 30 modern apartments and served the community as a growing demand for assisted living was filled.

In 2012, Frontier underwent a major renovation and added Memory Care to its programming. Currently, Frontier is the only Assisted Living community in the Livingston area to provide Alzheimer's and related Dementia care in a secured environment. Our market study uncovered that we could provide the same services in Park County for memory care as the much larger communities at an affordable rate. In the past, families were forced to place their loved ones in a community many miles form their home. We understand the hardship that is involved and the need for that connection in order to remain close to your loved one. Frontier embraces the philosophy of aging in place and we work hard to ensure that we live up to what we say!
